Stagehand / Event Crew Member – Lille

FORCE EVENT is recruiting stagehands / event crew members to strengthen its teams for technical and event productions in Lille. You will work alongside our teams during event preparation, setup, live operations and breakdown. This is a highly hands-on role requiring reliability, punctuality, a strong team spirit and the ability to adapt quickly to on-site demands. RESPONSIBILITIES • preparing and handling event and technical equipment; • loading and unloading vehicles and trucks; • transporting equipment to setup areas; • assisting with the setup and breakdown of installations; • unrolling, pulling, routing, protecting and storing cables; • handling flight cases, technical equipment and structural components; • assisting the sound, lighting, video, structures and production management teams; • preparing and tidying technical and backstage areas; • maintaining an organised and safe working environment; • following instructions from team leaders, production managers and technical supervisors. PROFILE No prior experience is required. Previous experience in events, live entertainment, manual handling, logistics or technical roles is valued but not required. FORCE EVENT places particular importance on professionalism, punctuality, motivation, on-site conduct and the ability to learn. The role involves physical handling and carrying equipment. Candidates must be comfortable with active and sometimes demanding work. A Category B driving licence is an advantage. Team members must also be comfortable using a smartphone and basic digital tools. WORKING HOURS Productions may take place during the day or at night, on weekdays, weekends and public holidays, depending on the assignments. Some assignments may start very early or finish late at night. Flexibility with working hours is therefore important. PAY Pay is determined according to experience, level of autonomy, skills and the candidate’s profile. Beginners may join the team and gradually develop their skills. Experienced profiles able to work with greater autonomy will be recognised accordingly. FORCE EVENT We are looking for people we can rely on over the long term.
