The role
FORCE EVENT is recruiting Event Road Crew / Event Logistics Crew members to strengthen its teams for technical and event productions across Rennes and the surrounding area in Brittany.
You will work alongside our teams during event preparation, setup, live operations and teardown.
This is a hands-on role that requires reliability, punctuality, a strong team mindset and the ability to adapt quickly to changing on-site conditions.
Responsibilities
- preparing and handling event and technical equipment
- loading and unloading vans and trucks
- moving equipment to setup and technical areas
- assisting with the setup and teardown of event installations
- laying out, pulling, routing, protecting and storing cables
- handling flight cases, technical equipment and structural components
- supporting sound, lighting, video, staging and technical management teams
- preparing and keeping technical and backstage areas organised
- helping maintain a safe and orderly working environment
- following instructions from team leaders, event technical managers and technical supervisors
Candidate profile
Entry-level candidates are welcome.
Previous experience in events, live entertainment, materials handling, logistics or technical work is appreciated but is not required.
FORCE EVENT places particular importance on reliability, punctuality, motivation, professional behaviour on site and the ability to learn.
The role involves physical handling and carrying equipment.
Candidates should be comfortable with active work that can sometimes be physically demanding.
A category B driving licence is an advantage.
Team members should also be comfortable using a smartphone and straightforward digital tools.
FORCE EVENT is progressively developing a more digital organisation in which assignments, operational information, availability, time tracking and team communications are intended to be centralised in an employee workspace.
Advanced IT skills are not required.
We are primarily looking for people who can use the tools provided to them carefully and reliably.
Working hours
Assignments may take place during the day or at night, on weekdays, weekends and public holidays depending on operational requirements.
Some assignments may start very early or finish late at night.
Flexibility with working hours is therefore important.
Compensation
Compensation is determined according to experience, level of autonomy, skills and the candidate’s overall profile.
Entry-level team members can join and develop their skills progressively.
Experienced candidates who can work with greater autonomy will be valued accordingly.
